	Celeste This tiny 4 week old girl came to The Ark after being hit by a car. She is doing well and does not have any lasting injuries from her trauma. She has an amazing purr, but she needs some time to grow up before she will be ready for a loving home.
	Mia is a 2 year old black/white dsh female. She was saved by The Ark when her time at the County shelter was up. She is recovering from upper respiratory we are just getting to know her. She will soon be spayed and available for adoption soon.
	Nelly Curly haired Nelly was turned in with her buddies Joey and Lucky. Their human family lost their home and had nowhere to turn to save their beloved pets. Nelly is about 5 years old, and has the cutest wire hair coat ever. She is very friendly with everyone she meets and loves doggie companions.
	Joey Little Joey was turned in with his buddies Nelley and Lucky. Their human family lost their home and had nowhere to turn to save their beloved pets. Joey is about 5 years old, and a sweet little man. He is great with all people and loves the company of other dogs.
	Lucky Lucky was turned in with his buddies Nelly and Joey. Their human family lost their home and had nowhere to turn to save their beloved pets. Lucky is about 11 years old, a real gentleman, who looks like a Chihuahua/Doxie mix. He is just a love and wants to be with people and likes to be around other dogs. He doesn’t understand where his family has gone, and just wants to be loved and feel secure. Neutered and current on shots.
	Miss Mylo is a lovely 6 year old mostly white Calico mix. She was turned in by her owners when a family member developed allergies. Shw is very talkative and his very outgoing with everyone she meets. She loves kittens, does well with other cats and enjoys the company of polite dogs. She is front declawed, spayed and has her shots.
	Skye Beautiful Skye spent her entire life, about 5 years, in an outdoor kennel with very little human interaction before coming to The Ark. Despite that sad beginning, she wants to be with humans and likes to carry on conversations. She is quickly learning to trust with the gentle care she receives now, and needs a special home that will give her the time and patience she needs to be a loving, trusting companion.
	Jezabelle is an 18 month old beauty. A long haired tabby with gorgeous green eyes, she is a spirited little gal. She loves to play and has plenty of energy to spend hours chasing a feather toy. She would prefer an experienced cat home, where she can rule with an iron paw, without other animals as she wants to have all the attention. Jezabelle is spayed and has her shots.
	Josie A beautiful 4 year old seal point Siamese who lost her home when her owner could no longer care for her. She has perfect markings, and is a sweet, shy girl who needs a quiet home where she can be an only cat. Typical of her breed, she likes to talk and will form a strong bond with her person.
	Tiny Tim is a 2 year old corgi-Chihuahua mix who loves everyone! Dogs, cats, adults, kids, even hamsters! He is just a great little guy who loves to go for walks, or cuddle up with you. He came to The Ark after being found wandering the streets of San Juan Capistrano as a stray. He is neutered and his shots are current.
	Gypsy Darling Gypsy is a Siamese mix, only about 1 year old. She was found at a local horse stable in San Juan Capistrano and turned in to the County. Her time was up when the Ark rescued her, very sick and malnourished. She has a calm, sweet personality, and is waiting for her forever home with laps to sit in, gentle hands to pet and someone to love Gypsy is spayed and has her shots.
	Sushi is a 7 year old female black short hair. Little Sushi came to the Ark when her owner could no longer care for her. A tiny little kitty, only about 6 pounds, she is very quiet and shy, but once she knows she is loved and safe, she is a warm and loving companion. Sushi is spayed and has her shots.
	Little Belle is a 6 year old female Terrier mix. She is a feisty little girl who loves people and is great with kids of all ages. Little Belle came to the Ark when her family lost their home. She wants to have her people all to herself, so would do best as an only dog. She loves to walk, and snuggle under the covers for a nap. She is housebroken, spayed, micro chipped, and has her shots. She is all set to go to her forever home.
	Pallet is just a gentle giant who lost his home to financial hardship. This 3 year old black/white boy looks to have some Maine Coon in him. He is very loving, and will follow you around the house and be your best friend. He has been waiting patiently, but is wondering when he will get his second chance for love.
	Pepper is a 4 year old dsh beauty whose owners turned her in the County with a badly infected eye. The Ark rescued Pepper, she underwent surgery, and is now fully recovered and doing fine with only one eye. She is a sweet and quiet little girl who seems to be grateful for the love and care she has been given. Now she is ready for her forever home. Pepper is spayed and has her shots.
	Sophia is a beautiful 3 year old dmh girl. She is very affectionate, and loves to talk! She gets along great with other cats, and is not bothered by polite dogs. Sophia is spayed and has her shots.
	Isabelle is a 7 month old cream dsh. Sweet Isabelle came to the ark as a very, very sick kitten. She has fully recovered from her illness, but has feline herpes, which causes her eye to tear. This is not contagious and does not cause her any discomfort. She is very playful with other cats and enjoys snuggling up with her people for gentle petting. She is quite independent and confident, and is not bothered by polite dogs. Isabelle is spayed and has her shots.
	Baxter is a neutered male Boxer / Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is a happy boy with lots of energy! This young 2 year old boy would love to be part of an active family that can keep him busy. Baxter needs positive reinforcement training to be the best boy he can be.
	Licorice is a 2 year old Dutch rabbit with beautiful glossy black fur. She is a shy, petite girl and litter box trained. Licorice was turned in to the County and when she ran out of time she came to the Ark. She would be an ideal addition to an experienced rabbit home, where she can spend her days just enjoying herself. She is spayed and has her shots. More Licorice pictures...
	Pickles Pickles is an incredibly handsome 5 month old boy who may be an Egyptian Mao mix. He has a lot of energy and will keep you entertained for hours. Pickles came to The Ark as an abandoned 7 week old orphan. He will make a great addition to any household as he loves everyone, including other cats and polite dogs.. He loves to run, run, run, and then snuggle down for a long nap. He does like to attack toes, just too tempting.
	Rexy is a one year old female Labrador mix. She is a very sweet girl who loves people and other dogs. She would be a great addition to any family. More Rexy pictures...
	Pierre is a 4 yr. old neutered PooChon (Poodle-Bichon) who came to The Ark severely underweight from malnutrition. He is doing well in his foster home where he has been getting all the love and nutrition he could possibly want. Pierre is a sweet lovable boy and is most happy in a lap.
	Butch is an 18 month old neutered "Heinz 57" mix. He's lovable guy, shy when first meeting but will warm to a gentle approach. He enjoys being with people he is familiar with and loves to play with other dogs. Butch was turned in by his owner when financial conditions forced him to be surrendered. He would love to have a quiet home and a family to call his own.
	Annie, a 5 year old Staffordshire Terrier, was rescued out of the County Shelter as a very sweet, scared and sick girl. Now she is completely healed. Once she felt better it was quickly apparent to us that this girl had been abused, most likely by a man. She has made great progress learning to trust again. She would be so grateful to have a loving forever home.
	Chase is a young male Staffordshire Terrier, still very puppy-like. He is just a great boy, a favorite of everyone, and he doesn’t understand why he hasn’t met his human, and neither do we! Eager to please, his antics will make you smile time and again. He is a VERY sweet boy, LOTS of energy, takes treats with a gentle mouth, and rides quietly in the car. 	Shaq is a 2-year-old neutered male Mastiff / Staffordshire Terrier mix. According to several of our volunteers who have played with him, "He is a big, lovable, mellow goofball." He apparently had never been walked on a leash, so The Ark has been giving him some gentle basic training. Wherever we take this good-looking boy, people stop us to exclaim how handsome he is.
	Cheeto is a 3 year old neutered male Dachshund mix. With one ear up and one down, his antics can't help but make you smile. His foster parents report that "this little big dog is a real character who has made tremendous progress in overcoming his initial fear of hands." He also loves to talk and talk and talk — pretty much as long as you'll listen.
