Reeses, Kola, and Pallet
are 3 cats who have been part of our San Juan Capistrano home for some time now.
We recently found out that my 14 month old son is allergic to cats.
His doctor has strongly advised that we find them a new home as quickly as possible.
I have been trying for a while now and have posters up, ads on CraigsList and on Facebook.
It breaks my heart that we need to find them a new home so I really want to do what I can to find them a great home.
I have attached some photos and listed a description of each cat below.
Please let me know if there is anything you can do.

Jasmine
was running loose in a San Juan Capistrano neighborhood.
She was very friendly and came right to me when I held out my hand.
I asked several neighbors if they knew who she belonged to and
was told that she had been left behind when her family moved away.
She had been on her own for almost three weeks!!
She really is such a sweet dog.
She's great with kids and other dogs.
I would love to be able to keep her, but I have two dogs already and
unfortunately one of them is not as friendly as Jasmine.
If you would like to meet Jasmine and maybe make her a member of your family,
please contact me.

Scruffy
was adopted into our family in 2004 from the Irvine Animal Care Center.
He was a stray and was very ill, but we were able to nurse him back to health, and
he has been an amazing little dog ever since!
Now we have 3 children, all boys, and just don't have the time for poor Scruffy.
Scruffy's main source of excitement is stealing food from the kids, and
about a week ago he accidentally bit my baby's hand while trying to steal a teething biscuit.
He has also been escaping and running away, which he never did before our 3rd child was born.
I now realize the responsible thing to do is find him a new home before he gets hit by a car or worse.
He's NOT mean at all, and he certainly isn't the type of dog to get out and cause mischief.
He's just bored and borderline neglected.
Poor Scruffy!
Can you help?

Sydney
is a 5 year old female, half Boxer & half Rottweiler.
She has a great personality and knows a lot of tricks listed below.
She is probably the fastest dog you will see at the dog park.
Gets along well with other dogs, primarily off leash.
Gets along great with kids as well, but our daughter is only 19 months and
due to Sydney's energy level, I suggest kids be at least 4 years old or older.
Sydney loves the water and the mountains and anywhere she can get outside.
The primary reason we are having to put her up for adoption is that even though our daughter absolutely loves Sydney, she keeps getting pushed into various objects and onto the ground because Sydney has a lot of energy and gets excited around others, especially if she thinks she is about to go for a walk. Sammy
is a beautiful Himalayan Persian cat, 6 years old.
He has been with me since he was weaned.
He has a sweet disposition and has been good around my grandchildren.
He likes to eat when I'm eating, and near me where ever I happen to be.
He's on the desk when I'm there doing business.
Has never scratched. He's neutered, and front nails declawed.
He's a great family cat.
However, he's not much into lap sitting. Will only stay there for a minute.
He has been to the dentist and has all his immunizations.

Sora and Joe
are two yellow labs who were abandoned by their owner at our practice.
They were brought in for boarding and were supposed to go home on March 2nd.
The owner has never contacted us or called us back.
However, we were able to speak to her friend and she told us she is absolutely certain the owner will not be picking them up.
She is fully aware we will not be able to keep them and will be doing our best to find homes for them.
Sora (upper left) is an 8 year old spayed female.
She has chronic ear infections that are being treated successfully.
Joe (lower left), the darker of the two, is a 10 year old neutered male.
He has arthritis, but is basically in good health.
If you know of anyone that is interested, PLEASE have them contact us as soon as possible.
These are great dogs and it breaks my heart that their owner did this to them.
You can speak with Darlene, Dr. Haney or Holly if you have any questions.
Thanks so much.

Kashmir,
a CFA
Registered
Himalayan Cat, is 4 year old spayed female, with front paws declawed. Her papered named is Bella Kashmir...she knows her name & we go by Kashmir. She is very lovable, likes attention and is a lap cat. She would be best placed in a loving home where she is the only animal without competition and the Queen of her territory. (I currently have 2 other papered Himalayans whom she does not get along with; she competes with them in a somewhat bullying manner for pets, love and attention.) She has a very sweet personality and can be a talker. She is playful & likes to sleep in her sheep-skin sleeper on top of the bed. I'm hoping to find a wonderful, loving home for her. Sadie & Louis lost their owner Robin to
breast cancer on May 8, 2010.
Robin lived with her youngest daughter, who is now going away to college, and
Sadie & Louis now have nowhere to go.
They are 5 year old Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier mixes, they're littermates, and
they're incredibly sweet animals who love people and attention.
They are outdoor dogs who sleep together in the same doghouse and eat from the same bowl.
They have been well cared for, have no health issues, and
they're kind to everyone who comes in contact with them.
They are funny, playful, and energetic and would make wonderful pets for someone.
Both of them are spayed with up-to-date veterinary records.
Can you please help Sadie & Louis find a new forever home?
