The Ark of San Juan is a non-profit all volunteer animal rescue organization whose primary mission is to end needless euthanasia of healthy pets. The Ark requires an adoption application, a home check, an adoption contract and an adoption fee of $250 Adult Dogs - $350 Puppies under 1 year (adoption fees may vary for certain situations / breeds). All dogs are altered and up-to-date on vaccinations before they are adopted out.
“Visual breed identification" in dogs/cats are unreliable so for most of the them we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know them as individuals and will do our best to describe each of of them based on personality, not by breed label.

Hendy is an 11-year-old Corgi Chihuahua mix. He is a very calm and well-adjusted dog; great with people, other dogs and cats. He presented very well at his first adoption event this past Saturday and visited all the available kittens! Hendy was an owner relinquish to The Ark.
Sasha is an 8-year-old White German Shepherd. She loves to take walks and does very well on a leash. Sasha also enjoys taking rides in the car. She would do best in a home where the foster or adopter is home for most of the day as she loves attention.
